Biography

I grew up in the water here — swimming, sailing, waterskiing, snorkeling and scuba diving, mostly in Shelburne Bay. From 1987 to 1992 I worked for the Lake Champlain Transportation Company on the ferries, at all three crossings: Grand Isle to Plattsburgh, Burlington to Port Kent, and Charlotte to Essex. Then I moved to Philadelphia to attend the Wharton School.

United States Coast Guard license to U.S. Merchant Marine Officer, issued to Craig W. French at Boston, 23 June 1992, as Third Assistant Engineer of motor vessels of not more than 2,000 horsepower.
