Lake Champlain

The bed from NOAA-chart isobaths. The blue sheet is the measured water surface (four USGS gauges); the gold sheet is the thermocline — a two-layer model, not a measurement — sloshing through the last week; the red ring traces where it meets the basin walls. Malletts Bay, the Inland Sea and Missisquoi Bay sit behind causeways: the main lake's seiches stop at the island chain. The first two stratify and run their own internal seiches — modeled here with the same physics, though no buoy exists in either bay to check them against.
